Our proprietary outsource manufacturing process
Our proprietary system ensures top-quality manufactured precision components.
Unmatched quality and process management at every stage of production, including materials testing, certified suppliers, safety stock, and more.
Global Sourcing Services has spent over fifteen years developing and fine-tuning a comprehensive, proprietary process designed to ensure on-time delivery and top-quality components. With our decades of manufacturing experience, we understand the nuances and challenges of making CNC precision components. As a result, we know exactly which quality systems and processes are most integral to a successful project.
We developed this proprietary system to monitor every step of the manufacturing process, from sampling and pre-production through full production. Our goal is to prevent unexpected delays by catching them early, so we can get you back on track. The result: You never miss a production deadline again and achieve near zero defects.
Here are the primary elements of our proprietary process:
Our team has a progressive attitude toward quality and service, so we’re always looking for ways to do things even better. We’ve spent years honing and perfecting our proprietary system. This process has produced a 97% on-time delivery rate, and with almost 6 million parts shipping from GSS a year we only have a .008% return rate from our customers.
Certified supplier network
We only work with component manufacturers that meet our quality and service standards. Our certification process includes a mix of industry standards and our own proprietary criteria. Through years of careful auditing, we’ve built a robust network of domestic and overseas partners whom we trust to do high-quality work, meet deadlines, and provide excellent service. Our partners can do CNC precision machining, injection molding, cold forming, extrusion, casting, forging, stamping, powdered metal, and more.
Third-party quality audits for domestic and offshore CNC precision manufacturers
All of our overseas partners undergo regular on-site audits, conducted by local quality inspectors we know and trust. Global Sourcing Services put a lot of effort into building long-term relationships with our offshore vendors, and this extra layer of quality assurance is our way of making sure you’re getting the best possible service every time. And these aren’t just surface-level inspections. Our quality partners conduct complete process audits.
Independent laboratory testing for materials
A quality part starts with quality materials. We only use materials that have been tested and validated in a laboratory setting to ensure quality and performance. GSS has long-standing relationships with a number of reliable third-party testing laboratories we trust.
Dimensional double-checks of all CNC precision parts
Every part sourced by GSS is subject to multiple rounds of inspection to ensure that all dimensions meet your specifications. From PPAP, FAI and on-going in-process production inspections GSS will assure you that product will not get to your facility out of spec. This includes diameters, material thickness, distances between features, hole placements and more.
In-process audits of the CNC machining process
At Global Sourcing Services, we don’t save quality inspections for the end. We’re monitoring every step of the manufacturing process to ensure a quality CNC machined part. We pull sample units regularly to inspect for quality, accuracy, and consistency. If a disparity does occur, we’ll catch it right away, correct it, and keep your project on track.
